– Who will win?

If you’re interested in the war between the new next-generation videogame systems, tracks down the sales of Xbox 360, the Wii, and the PS3. They even have a mini-version of the tracker that you can post on forums, blogs, and websites. It’s quite interesting to note that even with Wii and the PS3 both out, the 360 still has got a >75% market share. Interesting, but the battle won’t pick up until next fall I’m guessing.

Emmm its got 75% still coz its been out for a year obviously, how cood Wii and PS3 get 8mil consoles sold inside 2/3weeks.Think before you make stupid statements man

That’s true, but with two systems launching you would think that the 360 market share would decrease sharply, but that isn’t the case. But I didn’t mean anything big about the 360 having 75%, that’s obviously meaningless at this point, that’s why I said the system wars won’t pick up until next fall. Only then will we have an idea of who’s the clear leader.

But at this point the 360 and the Wii are selling very well, while the PS3’s sales are hampered by production problems. Again, next fall will show a clearer picture of the market share.
